BACKGROUND Our Services Since 1998 Calmera Business Consultancy has provided flexible and effective business consultancy and project support services to organisations within the UK offshore islands. During this time we have seen increasing industry and employment regulation and, to help meet these demands, we now offer training and Human Resources (HR) consultancy services to help organisations manage, support and develop their staff.
Project consultancyWe are able to assist in many areas of project activity including project management and business process redesign. We have experience of a wide range of projects including implementing systems, integrating departments, outsourcing business functions and the EU Savings Directive.
TrainingWe are able to offer in-house training in management and other personal development skills as well as coaching and mentoring. We can also provide bespoke and external training to meet specific business requirements.
HR consultancyBased on extensive experience we are able to advise on the setup and ongoing operation of the Human Resources and Training functions as well as offering longer term advice and support.
Our approachWe recognise that each organisation and project is different and so provide flexible services to help match our clients’ needs.
Each assignment is discussed with the client in advance and the fees and responsibilities are agreed before the work commences.
Consultancy may range from a half day facilitation to longer term project management or ongoing support on a retained basis. Training is typically available by the half day or day but may include shorter periods such as lunchtime or breakfast sessions.
Working in a relatively small community we recognise the importance of strict confidentiality and offer the benefits of wide experience matched with local knowledge and support.
